The Boy From the Boro is a drama telling the story of the First World War. Many contemporary accounts of World War One focus on the battles, the generals, the politics and the strategy of the war that was said to be the one to end all wars. The Boy From the ‘Boro, created by Three in One Productions, tells the story of an ordinary man caught up in these earth shattering events. Arthur Horobin, an ordinary soldier, one time farm worker and shop keeper, was thrust into the mud and blood of trench warfare. It tells a personal, often harrowing, story of Arthur from Nuneaton - the Boro. One amongst many drawn into this world wide conflict. Because of the nature of some of the content it is felt that this production is not suitable for children aged 8 or under.
